A little deceased!

“Bheegi choli chunari bhi geeli hui”, running on theses rhymes ,Meera climbed the staircase. She ran, she hid herself and listened to heartbeats with mouth shut. She turned and found herself all wet. “Mohan, aaj tujhe bhi gilaa kardungi”, ran behind him.

Followed all the house through and pushed him the tub at last.”Dekha, bheega diya na!” Smilingly, Mohan got out and hugged her, as if it was his Last Holi or last precious moments?

Was it really?

But first, lets know about them. So, here’s Meera! Meera Awasthi, a mad creepy girl devoted to doctrine studies since childhood. Belonging to Varanasi, her roots were traditional and also her clothing! Please, don’t call her Bhenji! So was modern too! Living a double life, rockstar in intervals of the day. Imagine a girl living two different life’s! So ideal, isn’t it!

And we have Mohan, Mohan Subramanyam! Total no swag. Jobing here in Mumbai, responsibilities and more responsibilities and loves Meera since many years! But ‘No Swag’, right!

Grew up together, bond grew, both feel for each other but waiting for that moment, but they both don’t know when is it coming though!
That shallow evening returning back home, Mohan got an sudden black out, thinking it was pretty normal. To a week later, which grew bad. On consistent forcing by parents, he got a checkup for himself. That early Saturday morning he approached doctor for his report.

The doctor checked, re-checked and checked thoroughly again, his pace went slow to summarising saying,”You seem to have third stage cancer. And you have just two more months of your life.” Mohan flooded with tears as he had so much to do, what about his parents? Responsibilities over them? What about Meera?

All kept on revolving!

He probably rushed home, started checking accounts, pending investments gathered them, made several arrangements and flee himself from world and wanted to enjoy life -as there was no retreat!

In Next four days, happiness knocked the door In the form of The Festival Of Colours-Holi; friends, family and rest gathered. All filled with joy and passion to paint hearts and chunris!

That day, Meera looked beautiful as never before. With wind touching her jhumkas and passing by, her white Lucknowi chunri took many hearts there. “I decided to confess my feelings to her”,said Mohan. “But my disease, no I can’t!”, conscience claimed.

But how could I tell her, when there’s no Togetherness, no always, no forever! Walked up to the plate where colours were kept and picked the brightest of all and said,” No matter what, I am going to live this moment for a next million years!” And ran towards Meera.Got out of the pool and hugged her to his best.Cause there was no Tomorrow…….
